Dr. Jeffrey Kotz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from Wofford College in 1999.  Dr. Kotz then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2004.  During the following year, he completed a residency program at MUSC, where he earned a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.  Next, Dr. Kotz completed a two-year residency program at Boston University, where he received a Certificate in Endodontics. At Boston University, Dr. Kotz was trained in the use of the surgical operating microscope. He currently holds an Associate Professor position at the Medical University of South Carolina Department of Endodontics. When he’s not at the office, Dr. Kotz can be found enjoying various outdoor activities with family and friends, including fishing, kayaking, and surfing.
